This Course is an introduction to the use of the Luder Yawl Raymarine Chart Plotters. It will consist of approximately 1.5 hours in a classroom setting followed by time in the available yawls operating the chart plotters. It is free to NPSC members.

Bring finger food to share and a beverage of your choice. Skipper will bring brownies. We will depart D Dock at 530pm (get there at 5pm to get your gear onboard) and sail about the river and watch the sun set. Returning at about 830pm dockside.

American Sailing Association (ASA) Basic Keelboat (ASA-101) class. No prior sailing experience required.
Objective: Be able to sail a boat of about 20 feet in length in light to moderate winds and sea conditions in familiar waters unsupervised.
